Ethical issues that arise as a result of increasing use of computers, and the responsibilities of those who work with computers, either as computer science professionals or end users. Critical inquiry and review of ethical challenges in information technology business, including professional and corporate responsibility, government regulation, fiduciary responsibilities of information, infringement of intellectual property, security risk assessment, Internet crime, identity theft, employee surveillance, privacy, compliance, social networking, and the ethics of IT corporations. Building upon desktop application development with Visual Studio using VB.NET or C# languages, developing apps for Windows 8 utilizes Extensible Application Markup Language (XAML) for interface design. Windows 8 utilizes UI design standards that are unique from previous versions. Develop apps for Windows 8 smartphones and tablets that utilize touch input methods, translate into different resolutions, states, and orientations, and can tap into mobile features such as location and acceleration sensors.
