HCR100: Care of the Medically Complex Child – 1 credit

Course content will cover the orientation materials and fundamental concepts of foster parents caring for a medically complex child. The course will cover the common disorders and disease processes of children while providing basic knowledge to caregivers. Prerequisites: None. Note: HCR100 may be repeated for credit. HCR100 is graded as a P/Z for one credit and can be taken as many times as the student wishes to achieve competency of the content.

An introduction to health care ethics with emphasis on analysis and ethical decision making at both the clinical and health policy levels for health care professionals.
