FMT270: Documentaries for Social Change – 4 credits

Advanced study and practical application of nonfiction film production. Focuses on diverse voices and styles of short social documentaries, philosophical and ethical issues faced by the filmmaker, technical production skills, and considerations for marketing and distribution. A lab intensive post-production course. Emphasizes the art of editing movie and television media and the development of editing skills.
