Introduction to Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) as a framework for logical reasoning and informed decision-making in professional settings, particularly in the movement sciences. Students formulate professional questions, acquire and appraise relevant evidence, synthesize findings, and explore practical applications. Specific emphasis on the use of data to inform recommendations and consideration of audience, purpose and context to communicate effectively in both written and oral presentations.
