EXS270AB: Exercise Science Internship – 2 credits
A capstone experience in a fitness or health related facility. Note: CPR and AED certifications must be current through the duration of the internship. EXS270AB may be repeated for a maximum of six (6) credits. EXS290: Introduction to Evidence-Based Practice – 3 credits
Introduction to evidence-based practice as a foundation for reasoning, decision-making, and professional communication in the health sciences. Emphasis on the use of evidence, statistical reasoning, and rhetorical strategies to support practice recommendations. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in (EXS101, or FON100, or FON241, or HES100, or HES110, or PSY101) and (ENG101 or ENG107), or permission of Instructor.
