BPC265: Jamf Training Foundation – 3 credits

The Jamf Training Foundation offers a core understanding of Jamf Pro and Jamf Protect as well as an enterprise-focused examination of the macOS, iOS, and iPadOS platforms. The hands-on and example-based environment provides experience in the configuration of Jamf Pro, Jamf Protect, device enrollment, distributing App Store apps, building and managing packages to deploy to computers, configuration and settings for computers and mobile devices, device security, a scripting overview (Bash), and an introduction to the security standards. Explores the technical aspects of computer servers, including hardware installation and management; operating system configuration, access control and virtualization; and overall diagnostic and resolution of system hardware, software, connectivity, storage and security issues. Includes an emphasis on physical and network data security techniques and implementation of backup techniques to remediate disaster recoveries.
