FMT270: Documentaries for Social Change – 4 credits

Study of and practical application in social documentary film production. Focuses on diverse voices and styles of social documentaries, philosophical issues faced by the filmmaker, technical considerations, and business elements required for financial and commercial success of the social documentary. Note: FMP/FMT270 may be repeated for a total of twelve (12) credits. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in (FMP108 and FMP115) or FMT136, or permission of Instructor.
