This course is designed to exceed the Critical Care Paramedic Education Program requirements established by the Arizona Department of Health Services Bureau of Emergency Medical Services and Trauma System (AZDHS BEMS) for the Paramedic with Critical Care Endorsement. Please note, completion of the course alone DOES NOT meet all required elements requisite for the endorsement, as AZDHS BEMS also requires; State of Arizona Paramedic Certification with two years of experience at the paramedic level, Current National Certification (e.g. Board of Critical Care and Transport Paramedics Certification(BCCTPC) or Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C). There are also a number of recertification / renewal requirements to maintain the AZDHS BEMS Endorsement (please visit AZDHS BEMS for additional information). A mandatory in person orientation for the program will take place prior to the course start date.
