PED124: Strength and Conditioning for Sport Performance: Basic – 2 credits

Introduction to the principles and training techniques of strength and conditioning for sport performance. Emphasis is placed on beginning instructional techniques and safety of Olympic lifts; plyometrics; muscular endurance, strength and power development; anaerobic and aerobic capacity. Prerequisites: None. Note: PED124 may be repeated for a total of eight (8) credit hours.
