    • Notes: Class 22518 The topic for this seminar course is Introduction to Computer Aided Design (CAD) and 3-D printing. No background in the subject is required for this course. In this class you'll be taught to use CAD software and use it to design objects for a 3-D printer. You will also be introduced to basics of 3-D printing. The class will not have any exams. Course grades are based on assignment completion and attendance. Students will not need to purchase a textbook or any software for the course. Outside of the regular class time, you should expect each week to spend about 1 hour or less on assignments Students will leave the class with a 3-D printed design and the skills to continue exploring CAD and 3-D printing on their own.
