Graphing Calculator Required; Texas Instruments model 84 Plus, is strongly recommended. Approved calculators are allowed on the proctored exams. Calculators with symbolic manipulation capabilities, or CAS, such as TI-89, TI-92 or TI-Nspire CAS are not allowed on exams.
Rio Salado Calculator Checkout: The Rio Salado College Library has a small number of approved calculators available for checkout. Check the library catalog for availability.

CGCC Note: Students will need a laptop to run statistical software. It is recommended that your laptop have 8 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD, and an i5 processor or better. Laptops are available for loan from the CGCC Library for the semester on a first-come-first-served basis.
MAT206 is not recommended for students majoring in Business or Psychology.
