ECE103: Engineering Problem Solving and Design – 2 credits

Fundamentals of the design process: engineering modeling, communication and problem-solving skills in a team environment. Emphasis on process-based improvements to the design process. Introduction to engineering as a profession. Note: Student may receive credit for only one of the following: ECE103 or ECE103EP. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ECE102 or permission of Instructor or Division or Department Chair.

    Students must have access to a computer (PC, Mac, laptop, Chromebook, or iPad) with a working webcam, microphone, as well as reliable internet access.
    A computer with Windows 10, 64-bit or Windows 7 SP1, 64-bit with a processor of 3.3 GHz or higher, a RAM of 16 GB or more, PDM Contributor or Viewer: 8 GB or more or ECC RAM recommended. For graphic card and drives please refer to https://www.solidworks.com/sw/support/SystemRequirements.html.
    Students are required to be present live online for a final presentation one day during the week of July 5 - 8th, date will be announce in Canvas.
