ECE104: EPICS Gold I
– 2 credits
EPICS Gold is the first of a sequence of two two-credit service learning courses in which EPICS teams are formed from students potentially representing all engineering, computer science, and construction disciplines, as well as other majors, including sustainability, business, liberal arts, sciences, and others. Prerequisites: None. Note: Students who complete this course and transfer to ASU may participate in the upper division EPICS classes following this introductory class, which may include continuation of the project from this class or different projects. Student participation for multiple consecutive semesters on a project is encouraged. ECE104 may be repeated for a total of four (4) credit hours.

EPICS Gold is the first of a sequence of two two-credit service learning courses in which EPICS teams are formed from students potentially representing all engineering, computer science, and construction disciplines, as well as other majors, including sustainability, business, liberal arts, sciences, and others. ECE212: Engineering Mechanics-Dynamics – 3 credits
Modeling of dynamic motion in particles and rigid bodies through kinetics and kinematics. Work and energy principles; impulse and momentum principles; planar kinematics; equations of motion; conservation of energy and momentum. A grade of C or better required in all Prerequisites.
