Class is scheduled for Eight (8) Weeks
Students must have access to a computer (PC, Mac, laptop, Chromebook, or iPad) with a working webcam, microphone, as well as reliable internet access.
A computer with Windows 10, 64-bit or Windows 7 SP1, 64-bit with a processor of 3.3 GHz or higher, a RAM of 16 GB or more, PDM Contributor or Viewer: 8 GB or more or ECC RAM recommended. For graphic card and drives please refer to https://www.solidworks.com/sw/support/SystemRequirements.html.
Students are required to be present live online for a final presentation one day during the week of July 5 - 8th, date will be announce in Canvas.
This class qualifies for the Writing-Certified Class Program Distinction.

Twelve (12) Week Class
Software Required
SOLIDWORKS2025 by Dassault Systemes
You do not need to purchase access to the SOLIDWORKS software since it is provided for students free in this course. Instructions are provided in the course on how to download and install this necessary software.
Students will need a Windows based 64 bit computer running Windows 7 or higher. MAC products will be a problem and will not accommodate download and operation of the SolidWorks program.
Lab Kit: This course requires the use of materials from the ECE216/LL Lab Kit which must be purchased from the Rio Salado College Bookstore.
