This type of class is designed for highly motivated, self disciplined, technology-literate students; requires reliable Web and e-mail address for communication and assignments outside of the classroom. First Eight (8) Week Class
Hybrid Virtual classes are a combination of Live Online learning as indicated in the class schedule and asynchronous learning. Students are required to have access to a computer or mobile device, internet access, a webcam, speaker, and microphone; unless otherwise specified.

Required Training Materials: Virtual Linux lab access, which should be purchased directly from COGENT Cyber Platform and Range. NOTE: Your instructor will provide instructions on how to purchase access to the lab during the first week of the course.
Your required textbook is available in eBook format through the Rio Salado Library. If you would prefer to purchase a print copy, the textbook is available through the Rio Salado College Bookstore. All materials should be verified by ISBN before purchasing at the Rio Salado Bookstore or from another seller.

Students taking this class have access to Gateway's on-campus Advanced Cyber Systems Lab (MA2108) to supplement their learning through hands-on activities and in-person assistance with assignments.
The class does not have a specific meeting schedule. However, students may be required to meet virtually with the instructor and/or classmates at agreed-upon dates and times throughout the course. Students are required to have access to a computer or mobile device, and Internet access. CANVAS is used as the learning management system.
Students not logging into CANVAS on the first day of class may be withdrawn.
