– 3 credits
Defining career goals, and developing a self-promotional marketing plan to enter the workplace, including a resume, business card, leave behind, social media presence, interactive portfolio and printed portfolio. Understand business ethics and etiquette, artist's rights, copyright laws and contractual agreements, and develop networking, interview and communication skills. Prerequisites: None.

Technology Requirements: Desktop computer/laptop manufactured within the last three years with a dedicated graphics card (gpu). Suitable computers may be checked out from GCC with permission of the instructor.
- Additional Notes: ART248 is designed for students in Digital Media Arts, Animation or Commercial Photography programs while ART255 is intended for fine arts majors. Students are expected to have already created a body of work they will use to build a portfolio/reel and be in their final semester.
