Overview of the principles and practices of financial management in a business environment. Topics include financial analysis and financial risk, capital investment analysis and decision making, and the capital structure of the firm. Focus on analyzing financial information, identifying issues, and solving business problems to make sound business decisions. Emphasis on the ethical application of financial principles and methods for solving the problems of financial policy that managers face. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ACC212, or permission of Program Director.
