This beginnerÆs course is designed to introduce various Indigenous beading techniques. Students can expect to learn the differences between beads, bead sizes, and stitches. Each student will be encouraged to complete one project by the end of the semester. Students will have an opportunity to develop an appreciation for Native American beadwork, craftsmanship, and cultural significance. Beading does require patience, concentration, and can be deeply personal. Experience is not required.
