Study and application of engineering graphics, parts modeling, assemblies modeling, and engineering drawings including tolerancing and fasteners using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Note: Students may receive credit for only one of the following: (ECE216 and ECE216LL), or ECE216AA. - Notes: Live Online classes have sessions that meet online on specific days and times. Attendance in these sessions will be at the discretion of the instructor, and additional work will be required on the student’s own time. This course requires one or more in-person proctored test(s) on date(s) listed in the syllabus. There may be an additional cost associated with taking the exam in-person off the campus where the class is offered.
Students will be given "Certified SolidWorks Associate Exam" (CSWA) at no cost.
Students need to have access to a computer with Windows 7 SP1, 64-bit or higher in order to install and use SolidWorks.
