ECE216AA: Computer-Aided Engineering – 3 credits

Study and application of engineering graphics, parts modeling, assemblies modeling, and engineering drawings including tolerancing and fasteners using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Note: Students may receive credit for only one of the following: (ECE216 and ECE216LL), or ECE216AA. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ECE103, or ECE103EP, or permission of Instructor or Division or Department Chair.

      This course requires one or more in-person proctored test(s) on date(s) listed in the syllabus. There may be an additional cost associated with taking the exam in-person off the campus where the class is offered.
      Students will be given "Certified SolidWorks Associate Exam" (CSWA) at no cost.
      Students need to have access to a computer with Windows 7 SP1, 64-bit or higher in order to install and use SolidWorks.
