PTA217: Clinical Neurology – 2 credits

Anatomy and function of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nervous system. Review of motor and sensory innervation and spinal tracts. Specific diseases of the central and peripheral nervous systems related to the physical therapy plan of care. Emphasis on clinical signs and symptoms of neurological disorders. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in (PTA101, PTA103, PTA104, and PTA203) or permission of the Program Director.
