This course will explore a diversity of film-based tools. This is a traditional wet darkroom course, hand developing film and making gelatin silver prints is the basis for the semester. Time management is essential for success in this course, additional time to create assignments and work in the darkroom beyond studio class time required. A 35mm manual SLR film camera is required and will be available for check-out the first day of face to face classes.
