CIS314: Data Privacy and Integrity – 3 credits

Overview of data privacy and data integrity, history, concepts, and terminology, and the importance of each in the analytics and programming professions. Discussion of international, national, state and local regulations and guidelines pertaining to data privacy and data integrity. Use of office application software and current technology. Exploration of relevant and emerging regulations, guidelines, and technologies. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in CIS215 or permission of Instructor.
