EEP316: Math and Science Methods for Dual Language Learners - Birth to Age Eight – 3 credits

Overview and practical application of teaching math and science for dual language learners in early childhood settings. Covers teaching strategies, learning environments, and teaching resources. Emphasis on overview of relevant guidelines and standards for children birth through third grade (pre-K-3). Note: EEP316 requires an approved field experience. For some employment and field experiences (including internship courses), students will be required to have a current Identity Verified Print (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card and a current TB test. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in EED200 or permission of Instructor and (formal admission to an undergraduate educator preparation program or declaration of the BA in Early Childhood Education - Dual Language program or permission of Department or Division).
