AVC185: 3D Modeling and Animation I – 3 credits

Basic concepts of 3D modeling. Anatomy of computer geometry; basic elements that make computer models-curves, surfaces, non-uniform rational basis spline (NURBS), and polygons. 3D translation, shading, materials, and rendering. A grade of C or better required in all Prerequisites. Prerequisites or Corequisites: AVC100 or permission of Instructor.

    Modeling of props and rooms in Maya, figures in Zbrush. UV mapping, PBR textures, 3-point lighting, and rendering.
