ASL202: American Sign Language IV
– 4 credits
Advanced American Sign Language skills including continued vocabulary. Emphasis on conversational techniques in a cross-cultural framework. Continued work on conceptual accurate signing of English idioms and words with multiple meanings. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ASL201 or permission of Department or Division. (ENG101 or ENG107), ASL200, and (CRE101 or equivalent as indicated by assessment) suggested but not required. Completion of prerequisites within the last three years is required.

- Notes: Hybrid classes include face-to-face format on campus at the time listed in the class schedule. The other part will be held online either without a set time to attend or a Live Online session.

Low-Textbook-Cost Class: The total cost of the required materials for this course is $40 or less.
This hybrid class is being offered with two attendance options, hybrid and online, which means any student can participate by attending the scheduled in-person meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:00pm - 1:15pm or in an Online format that does not meet at specific class times. Students are required to choose only one of the available attendance options at the beginning of the class. Contact instructor for details.
High-speed Internet and a video recording device are required to successfully participate in this class. Students are expected to video record themselves for this class.
