PED101WW: Weight Training for Women – 1 credit

Designed to introduce students of all fitness levels to the fundamentals of resistance training in a safe and supportive environment. Includes hands-on demonstrations of and practice using equipment such as machine weights, free weights, and/or Olympic lifts. Individual workout programs developed under instructor supervision and strategies to integrate resistance training into lifestyle considered.
Prerequisites: None. Note: PED101WW may be repeated for credit.
