MAT218: Mathematical Analysis for Business – 4 credits

An introduction to the mathematics required for the study of business. Includes multivariable optimization, Lagrange multipliers, linear programming, linear algebra, probability, random variables, discrete and continuous distributions. Note: Students may receive credit for only one of the following: MAT217 or MAT218. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in MAT212, or MAT213, or MAT220, or MAT221.
