AVC142: Introduction to Digital Photography – 3 credits

Fundamentals of digital photography. Includes camera operations, exposure techniques, introduction to digital output, and theory of digital photography. Prerequisites: None. Note: Digital camera required.

24735	Costs include AVC Course Fee: $35.00 Notes Notes: Hybrid classes include face-to-face format on campus at the time listed in the class schedule. The other part will be held online either without a set time to attend or a Live Online session. Students enrolling in a hybrid class acknowledge they already possess the skills described in the Minimum Computer and Technology Requirements at https://www.mesacc.edu/online/get-started for additional information. Fully-adjustable, high-resolution, digital camera is required. (digital SLR recommended). Art100, Introduction to Computer Graphic Art, is highly recommended as a precursor to this course. This class is taught using Macintosh computers. A DSLR camera is required. Students in this class will be provided an Adobe Creative Cloud account tied to their MEID username, for home use on PC or Mac computers (smartphone or tablet mobile devices are not supported) during the duration of this course.
