BIO205: Microbiology – 4 credits

Study of microorganisms and their relationship to health, ecology, and related fields. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in (BIO156, or BIO156XT, or BIO181, or BIO181XT, or one year of high school biology) and (RDG100, or RDG100LL, or higher, or eligibility for CRE101). CHM130 or higher or one year of high school chemistry suggested but not required.

	Notes Notes: Class 23521 This course uses free online textbooks. This class will be taught in an asynchronous online format, which does not require regular attendance on specific days/times. Students will be allowed to work through weekly course material on their own time. Student attendance and participation will be tracked through weekly assignment completion. Students must have access to a computer (PC, Mac, laptop, Chromebook, or iPad) with a working webcam, microphone, as well as reliable internet access.
