PED115: Lifetime Fitness – 2 credits

Increase personal fitness, strength, and vitality. Current principles of cardiovascular exercise, weight training, flexibility, and balance exercises applicable to lifetime fitness goals. Personalized fitness plans developed and implemented with support of highly trained fitness professionals. Techniques to make sessions more effective and enjoyable. Prerequisites: None. Note: PED115 may be repeated for a total of eight (8) credit hours.

    • Notes: PED115 may be repeated for a total of eight (8) credit hours. Students are not advised to take PED115 and PED101FL in the same semester.

      This course may be taken for a standard letter grade (A,B, C, D & F), OR pass/no credit (P/Z).

      To begin, open the course in your Canvas dashboard and read the syllabus. This class requires workouts in person at MCC Fitness Centers and a portion of the course allows you to workout outside of MCC Fitness Centers.
