Designed to provide the allied healthcare provider with the knowledge and skills to perform Basic Life Support (BLS) according to current guidelines for emergency cardiovascular care (ECC). Prerequisites: None. Note: EMT101 may be repeated for credit.

  • Certification through American Heart Association (AHA). This is a Healthcare Provider level CPR course. Previous certification or experience not required.
    Registration Information:
    1. Students must take the Reading Placement test and pass with a 10th grade reading score
    2. The EMT program is offered as a cohort. Students must register for the following: EMT101, EMT104, EMT104LL and EMT104AB classes, by adding each section to your Student Center Shopping Cart at the same time, prior to completing the registration process.
