HIM233: Health Information Technology Seminar – 1 credit

Provides review of Health Information Technology topics in preparation for credentialing exam, and application of essential Health Information Technology workforce skills, including strategies for career preparation, teamwork, project collaboration, professionalism, and leadership. Note: Student must participate in the PPE (Professional Practice Experience) Orientation. Consult with Program Director or Instructor. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in HIM203, HIM208, and HIM210, or permission of Program Director. Corequisites: HIM234.
