ESL041: English as a Second Language IV: Listening and Speaking – 3 credits

Emphasis on academic skills. Listening to lectures, note-taking, peer interaction, accessing and using media resources, formal oral presentations. Note: ESL041 may be repeated for a total of six (6) credit hours. Prerequisites: Appropriate ESL placement test score, or a grade of C or better in ESL030, or ESL031, or ESL032, or ESL036.
