ECE216AA: Computer-Aided Engineering – 3 credits

Study and application of engineering graphics, parts modeling, assemblies modeling, and engineering drawings including tolerancing and fasteners using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Note: Students may receive credit for only one of the following: (ECE216 and ECE216LL), or ECE216AA. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ECE103 or permission of Instructor or Division or Department Chair.

    Students may take the "Certified SolidWorks Associate Exam" (CSWA) at no cost, this exam is optional.
    Students need to have access to a computer with Windows 7 SP1, 64-bit or higher in order to install and use SolidWorks. The SolidWorks software will be provided to students at no cost.
