IPP207: Ethics and Decision Making for ASL/English Interpreters – 2 credits

Guided exploration of factors that impact decisions within interpreted contexts, including strategies, theory, and models for decision making. Application and implementation of the National Association of the Deaf (N.A.D.)-Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (R.I.D.) Code of Professional Conduct. Note: IPP207 may be repeated for a total of eight (8) credit hours. A grade of C or better required in all Prerequisites. Prerequisites: ASL201 or permission of Department or Division. Prerequisites or Corequisites: IPP205 or permission of Program Director. Completion of prerequisites within the last three years is required.
