Class meets at SCC Fitness & Wellness Center FW527 on Tuesday, 10/28, from 7:00PM - 8:00PM Class also meets at an offsite location on Sunday, 11/2, and Sunday, 11/9. The locations and times will be announced at the orientation on 10/28. Experience top rope rock climbing in the local Phoenix mountains during two full day sessions. This class will include instruction on safety, belaying and climbing techniques. The course will be conducted outside on real rock, and students will have ample time to practice their skills. This course is for beginners and intermediate climbers. A basic level of fitness is required, and students must have reliable transportation to meet at offsite locations. The course fee of $20 (due at registration) covers costs for all rock-climbing equipment (harness, helmet, climbing shoes). Textbook info pending
