Explores how the study of diseases, conditions, and treatments are connected to the health information management function. Topics include disease etiology; signs and symptoms of diseases and conditions; prognosis of diseases and conditions; and pharmacological concepts related to drug nomenclatures, sources of drugs, drug actions and dosage, and routes of drug administration. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in (HCC145 and BIO201) or permission Program Director.
