    • Additional Notes: The State of Arizona requires fingerprint clearance cards for all students engaged in a classroom field experience. EDU221 requires a 30-hour field experience in an approved K-12 classroom setting. To avoid any delay, students should begin the fingerprint clearance process prior to the start of classes. Fingerprint packets are available in the Teacher Education Program, located in the LA building or from the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Prior to the class start date, students must have an IVP (Identity Verified Print) fingerprint clearance card or be currently employed in a K-12 school that requires a completed background check for employment. Verification of school employment will also be required. For questions e-mail Heather Merrill: heather.merrill@gccaz.edu.
