Basic outdoor rock climbing skills. Includes belaying, climbing techniques, rope systems and anchor systems. Prerequisites: None. Note: RPM155AC may be repeated for a total of four (4) credits.

A basic level of fitness is required and students must have reliable transportation to meet at offsite locations. All details will be explained during one-time class orientation, which meets at Tuesday, 10/28, from 7:00-8:00 pm, in FW-527 at SCC. Travel/activity fee of $20 (due at registration) covers costs for all rock-climbing equipment (harness, helmet, climbing shoes). There are no travel/activity fee refunds after 10/28.
