FMT270: Documentaries for Social Change – 4 credits

Advanced study and practical application of nonfiction film production. Focuses on diverse voices and styles of short social documentaries, philosophical and ethical issues faced by the filmmaker, technical production skills, and considerations for marketing and distribution. Note: FMP/FMT270 may be repeated for a total of twelve (12) credits. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in (FMP108 and FMP115), or FMT136, or permission of Instructor.
