Topics in algebra and trigonometry in preparation for calculus. Note: Students may receive credit for only one of the following: MAT182, or MAT187, or MAT188. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in MAT15+, or an appropriate district placement.

Attendance in scheduled live online sessions is mandatory. Additional work may be required online. Students are required to have access to a computer/mobile device and reliable Internet access, and a webcam may be necessary for specific classes. This course will require an IN-PERSON proctored testing. Proctoring services will be provided at GCC's Online Testing Center. Class 11755 costs include MAT Course Fee: $5 Additional Notes: This course alone will meet the prerequisite for MAT220. STEM students may also meet the Calculus I prerequisite by taking MAT150/151 followed by MAT182, and this is the preferred path for students with a limited background in Trigonometry.
