Teaching strategies, curriculum design, lesson objectives, time management skills, teaching resources and student assessments covered. Professional Teaching Standards emphasized. Includes current research findings related to secondary education methods and curriculum development. Note: Upon completion of EDU289, students are required to enroll in one of the following courses: EDU289AA or EDU289AB or EDU289AC or EDU289AD or EDU289AE. Prerequisites: Baccalaureate Degree and formal admission to a state approved post-baccalaureate teacher preparation program.
