FMP134: Pre-Production for Film and Media – 3 credits

Introduction to elements of pre-production for film, television, and commercial productions. Focuses on aesthetics, writing, budgeting, and selecting cast and crew. Features pre-production meetings to establish style, location, production design, shot list/storyboard, sound design, and shooting schedule. Pre-production of one narrative or collaborative commercial project required. Working as crew on one class shoot required. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in FMT100, or FMP108, or permission of Department or Division.
