MPT251: Solid Design: Documentation/GD&T: SolidWorks – 3 credits

Creation of engineering drawings. Parts and assemblies using associative mechanical design software. Principles and applications presented in accordance with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Y14 series of standards. Drawing sheets and templates, views, projections, dimensions and annotations, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and assembly configurations. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in MPT151 or permission of Program Director.
