Introduction to engineering graphics, including tolerancing and fasteners, as well as creation and use of engineering drawings. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ECE103, or ECE103EP, or permission of Instructor or Division or Department Chair. Corequisites: ECE216LL.

Class will meet using a virtual platform at a set time and day with the rest of the class from your home device. Examples of a virtual platform are WebEx, Google Meets and Zoom.
ECE216 (2 credits) + ECE16LL (1 credit) will transfer to ASU as MAE214 Computer Aided Engineering I (1 credit) and Elective (2 credits).
Students who register for this course by December 9 are eligible for the Engineering program's Early Registration Incentive Program (ERIP). Please contact the Program Coordinator, cwhitesel@southmountaincc.edu for details.
Students who have completed ECE103 and would like to take this course should contact Dr. Whitesel (cwhitesel@southmountaincc.edu) if the system will not allow them to self-enroll.

Students are required to download and use Respondus LockDown Browser + Monitor which requires a webcam and microphone. Chromebooks do not support this software.
Student is responsible to access their Maricopa “Student Center” for enrollment alerts regarding: Financial Aid, Payment Plan, and “DROPPED” FROM CLASS ISSUES.
Note: Financial issues must be resolved before the class start date. Student cannot attend class if tuition is not paid prior to class start date.
