Equine Anatomy and Physiology (EQS120) 4 Credits

Study of structure and function of the equine. Includes cell structure, anatomy and physiology of major systems with emphasis on skeletal, muscular, and digestive systems. Incorporates detailed discussion and identification of various anatomical parts. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in EQS105 or permission of Department or Division.

      This course requires the use of a computer or mobile device with internet access.
    • Additional Class Notes: EQS120 class also requires 3 off-site labs during weeks 4-6 of the semester from 5:30pm - 8:00pm. (Lab dates to be determined). Students are responsible for transportation to off-site class session which will include Cherry Hill Stables (21632 S. 140th St., Chandler AZ 85286) and other locations TBD.
