ART292: Digital Output Prepress – 3 credits

Introduction to prepress for digital output. Foundation of job costing and the functions of a job ticket for proper file preparation including trapping, color management, file transfers, workflow, RIPping, imposition and file proofing. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ART291 or permission of Instructor.

      This class meets for an 8-week period during the full length semester. Students should expect an increased amount of work each week during the 8 weeks as compared to the same class offered in the full semester.
