Precalculus (MAT187) 5 Credits

A precalculus course combining topics from college algebra and trigonometry. Preparation for analytic geometry and calculus. Note: Strongly recommended that students have some knowledge of trigonometry. The combination of MAT15+ and MAT182 is equivalent to taking MAT187. Calculus with Analytic Geometry III (MAT241) 4 Credits

Multivariate calculus including vectors, vector- valued functions, partial differentiation, multiple integration and an introduction to vector fields. Note: Student may receive credit for only one of the following: MAT240 or MAT241. Prerequisites: Grade of "C" or better in MAT230 or MAT231.

Modern Differential Equations (MAT276) 4 Credits

Introduces differential equations, theoretical and practical solution techniques with applications. Problem-solving using MATLAB. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in MAT230 or MAT231 or permission of Department/Division Chair.
