ALT100: Academic Literacy Through Integrated Reading and Writing – 4 credits

Develops academic language skills and critical reading skills for organizing, analyzing, and retaining material through complementary reading and writing assignments. Prepares students for college level reading and writing intensive courses as well as career-related reading and writing tasks. Prerequisites: An appropriate District placement.

  • This is a Flex start class that meets for twelve (12) weeks.
    Hybrid classes incorporate multiple methods of instruction including in person and online learning. Attendance in scheduled class sessions are mandatory. This class will meet every Wednesday from 9:00am-11:0pm beginning September 29th. Students are required to have access to a computer or mobile device, and internet access; unless otherwise specified. CANVAS is used as the learning management system.
