    • Class Notes: This course explores the basic concepts and applications of artificial intelligence (AI), including AI project cycles. Focus on issues surrounding AI including ethics, bias, culture, regulations, and professional expectations. Students are encouraged to take MAT206 and CIS156 during Fall 2020 to meet the prerequisites for most programs relevant to the Artificial Intelligence content of this CIS280 Special Topics course.
      Due to COVID-19, this in person class section has been transitioned to a Live Online section. This class will meet remotely during the scheduled class times using web conferencing software (e.g., Webex, Zoom, or Google Hangouts) for all class dates. Attendance and active participation in these remote class sessions is expected, and all course work must be completed according to the deadlines given in the course syllabus. Students will need to have access to a computer or mobile device, internet, and web camera.
