Application of rudimentary, syntactical, and grammatical structure stressed with continued development of sign vocabulary. ASL201: American Sign Language III – 4 credits

Linguistics of American Sign Language (A.S.L.) including non-manual behaviors and signing English idioms with conceptual accuracy. Emphasis on practical application of A.S.L. skills, expanded vocabulary, and cross-cultural communication. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ASL102 or permission of Department or Division.
