      GOLDWATER LAKE TRAIL- South of Prescott. Day hike is on Saturday, October 10th, 6am - 6pm. After you are registered in the class, contact instructor leonard.lev@gccaz.edu for hike itinerary. Goldwater Lake Trail is a 9 mile forested trail shaded by dense ponderosa pine that occasionally give way to alligator juniper and chaparral-type vegetation. There are excellent views of both Upper and Lower Goldwater Lakes, as well as the high country to the east and west. This trail traverses a landscape of hills and ridges, where the valleys are green with Gambel oak, and a variety of grasses. The trail crosses Bannon Creek twice, which may be flowing in the spring. Birds are especially active in this area. First class meeting Thursday October 8, 2019, 7:30pm at GCC Main campus in the FW-52. Class departs from GCC Main campus on Saturday October 10th, at 6:00am.n Thursday Oct 08, 2020 from 7:30PM - 8:30PM via Zoom. This meeting is mandatory.       Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese form of martial arts. Modern scientific studies have proven that people gain health benefits by practicing Tai Chi. There are three essential components of Tai Chi - Balance, Strength and Brain Power. Tai Chi teaches practitioners how their body movements function in their daily lives enabling them to maintain proper body posture and achieve structural equilibrium. The long sequence of Tai Chi moves also provides mental exercise to build brain power over time with regular practice. The style of Tai Chi taught in this class is Chen Style Tai Chi Quan Practical Method. All the moves require sound body mechanics and precision based on martial art applications.       Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese form of martial arts. Modern scientific studies have proven that people gain health benefits by practicing Tai Chi. There are three essential components of Tai Chi - Balance, Strength and Brain Power. Tai Chi teaches practitioners how their body movements function in their daily lives enabling them to maintain proper body posture and achieve structural equilibrium. The long sequence of Tai Chi moves also provides mental exercise to build brain power over time with regular practice. The style of Tai Chi taught in this class is Chen Style Tai Chi Quan Practical Method. All the moves require sound body mechanics and precision based on martial art applications. This aquatic fitness class offers knowledge and skills to keep fit for life. It teaches safe performance of movement and exercise in a progressive approach and offers an opportunity to improve and/or maintain a high level of fitness through application of aerobic training principles in an aquatic environment.
